Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

“We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Neo Window Cleaning. “You”, “Customer” refers to the person or organisation receiving our services. “Services” refers to window cleaning and any related exterior cleaning services we provide. “Property” refers to the address where services are carried out.

2. Scope of Services

We provide professional window cleaning services using traditional methods or water-fed pole systems, depending on access, safety, and suitability. Unless specifically agreed in writing, our services do not include: Removal of paint, cement, plaster, silicone, adhesive, or builders’ debris; Restoration of damaged, oxidised, or faded frames, seals, or glass; Internal cleaning of inaccessible or unsafe areas.

3. Quotes, Prices & Variations

All prices are based on the information provided at the time of quotation. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Prices may be reviewed if property conditions change, including but not limited to extensions, access restrictions, additional glazing, roof types, or obstructions. Any additional work requested outside the agreed scope may be charged separately.

4. Service Frequency & Scheduling

We operate on a 6 weekly schedule. Scheduled dates are approximate and may vary due to weather, access, or operational reasons. You do not need to be present during the visit, provided safe access is available.

5. Access & Customer Responsibilities

You agree to: Provide clear, safe access to the property; Secure pets during the visit; Remove fragile or valuable items near windows; Leave gates unlocked where access is required. If access is not possible and no prior notice is given, we reserve the right to charge a missed visit fee or the full visit charge.

6. Weather Policy

Light rain does not affect cleaning results and we still clean in the rain. We may postpone a service during torrential rain. Services may also be postponed due to unsafe conditions such as high winds, frost, ice, or storms.

7. Payments & Deposits

Payment is taken by direct debit (using GoCardless) after the clean. For first-time customers, larger properties, or commercial-style work, we reserve the right to request a deposit of up to 50% prior to work being carried out.

8. Cancellations & Termination

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Deposits are non-refundable where insufficient notice is given. Repeated cancellations or non-payment may result in termination of service. We allow a maximum of 2 skipped cleans per year. Our commitment to you is that we will always endeavour to stick as close to the 6 weeks as possible, and in return we ask that you respect our business and the impact multiple skipped cleans would have.

We reserve the right to stop or refuse services immediately for safety concerns, non-payment, or unreasonable behaviour.

9. Quality & Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the service, you must notify us within 48 hours of completion. We will re-attend where appropriate. No refunds or re-cleans are offered after this period.

10. Liability, Property Condition & Insurance

We hold valid Public Liability and Employer’s Liability Insurance. We are not liable for damage, leaks, or defects resulting from pre-existing faults, wear and tear, or structural weaknesses, including but not limited to:

Water-fed pole cleaning may highlight or expose existing defects but does not cause them. Our total liability is limited to the value of the service provided for that visit. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Unsafe Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if, in our opinion, conditions are unsafe or likely to cause damage, including fragile roofs, defective glazing, or unstable structures.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, illness, accidents, or equipment failure.

14. Marketing & Testimonials

By using our services, you agree that we may use: Written reviews; Before-and-after photographs (excluding identifiable personal details) for marketing purposes unless you notify us in writing otherwise.

15. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
